Personification-General Manager of a NHL club. That's an example of personification because, the General Manager of a NHL club is known and called the "GM." So a General Manager of a NHL club represents a person.

Parise-I think this quote is significant to the reading because, it explains that hockey is a very tough physical sport, and that if your going to whine about how physical it is, go find another sport to play. Also this book explains how tough hockey is ,and I just thought this quote would help explain how tough hockey is.(If you can't handle it get out!)
